Satellite TV channels
Satellite are man made
electronic device that are sent into space and which moves round the earth.
Satellite TV channels means television broadcasting using a satellite.
Satellite is used for communicating by radio or television. These satellite
channels have brought a tremendous change in the world of education and
entertainment of the people. Telecasting satellite has become very popular
nowadays. Many programmes that is being telecast be satellite are very beneficial
to us. They are not interesting but also instructive. People can watch various
enjoyable programmes sitting in their house. Some channels are very informative
like discovery, national geographic channels, animal planet channel, some
telecast live shows and commercial serials some telecast only sports programmes
like ESPN, star sports, ten sports channel. Some channels telecast only news
and documentaries.
But by telecasting violent movie some channels are destroying our young generations. It causes cultural decay and moral erosion. It has made the young generation aggressive and demoralized. So they may be branded as a cultural assault in our country. I think to prevent this situation there should be committee, the government to enforce a policy regarding which channels can be permitted and which should be censored. They should telecast our own culture and patronize the folk artist and folk music rather than western or Indian music. We should receive the instructive sight of satellite and destructive sights should be avoided. We must have to remind that these satellite TV channels telecast programmes only for their commercial interest .
