human beings  lives in society , so he has to abide by some social rules and traditions . So social values are very vital things in a social life . It means certain forms of behavior that are taken and praised by all in the society . It also refers to a civilized life style . Honesty truthfulness, simple thinking ,obedience to religion,avoiding vice and sins etc. are elements of social values . In past , man achieved social values intensely .People of that time always got afraid when the commit any crime .
But it is very painful that the condition and practice of social values are decreasing day by day. Nowadays committing an of fence has become a fashion.The criminals are the leaders of the society. the chief course of the person degrace of social value is materialistic attitude. People of social value is materialistic attitude. People are running name after name , fame,money and fate only. So good qualities has become rare at present.This affects our society amply.As a result of social erosion the number of crime has increased. Lack of modesty and respect to others is not enough.But this cannot be  continued.The situation should be changed any cost . self awareness is the first remedy of it. Obedience to religion is also and important factor.criminals should be avoided unitedly.Our young generations should be introduced properly with religion.we must serve and protect our cultural.we have to remember , we have our own social values .
